Annual Conference, hosted by  Aotea

On behalf of the Executive and the members of the Federation of Maori Authorities (FOMA) we would like to thank you for your support for our 2014 Annual Conference.

From the feedback we have received the event has been a great success. Aotea were gracious hosts and the conference had a depth due to speakers that challenged and encouraged us to think about why we engage in the work we do.

We have already begun planning for Conference 2015 and are excited to be working with our whanau from Te Upoko O Te Ika A Maui to bring another successful Conference to our members.

Huihuinga Wāhine Māori Women’s Leadership Summit 2014

Convened annually by the Federation of Maori Authorities, Huihuinga Wahine is fast becoming a mainstay event on the Maori economic calendar.

Each year the Federation of Maori Authorities (“FoMA”) welcomes Maori women chairs, deputy chairs, CEs, GMs, directors, trustees and governors to a one day summit to discuss economic and commercial matters of interest and importance to us as Maori women leaders.  The speakers are always uplifting, inspiring and challenging.  They are people who are unapologetically focused on achievement and success of all New Zealanders, with a special commitment to Maori economic development.

In its third year, Huihuinga Wahine Maori Women’s Leadership Summit is set for Thursday 21 August 2014, 10am-4.30pm, Rydges Hotel, Rotorua.
